Catfish Creole Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. catfish filets
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • ½ cup green pepper, chopped
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 diced tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • Salt & pepper
  • Cooked white ice (optional)

Directions

  • Heat olive oil in large pan, add onion, green peppers and cook until soft
  • Add diced tomatoes, lemon juice, paprika, salt and pepper until sauce is formed.
  • After 10 minutes, press catfish filets down into sauce, and with a spoon cover fish with some of the sauce around it.
  • Cover pan and let simmer for 15-20 minutes
  • Serve, spoon sauce over served fish and add side of white rice
