Tomato & Pepper Sirloin Steak

Ingredients

  • 1 lbs. top sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 2 large green peppers
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional- cooked white rice

Directions

  • In large bowl, combine flour, salt and pepper. Add beef slices and toss gently to coat.
  • In Dutch oven, heat oil over medium heat. Cook beef until brown, add onion and stir until tender.
  • Add garlic, tomatoes and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and let simmer, covered.
  • Stir in green peppers (thinly sliced), broth and let simmer until peppers are tender.
  • Serve with side of white rice.
